PROJECT UPDATES

PW Street Construction

May 3, 2019

The intersection of Prince William Street and Wellington Road will be closed from 8 PM Friday, May 3 through 7 AM Saturday, May 4 for underground utility work.

The work zone along Prince William Street between Wellington Road and Jefferson Street will resume on Monday, May 6. This section of road will be closed to traffic between 8 AM – 5PM Monday – Friday for utility and roadway work; local residences and businesses will still have access to their properties within the work zone.

March 22, 2019

A right turn lane is being added to the Prince William Street project at Wellington Road based on citizen and City Council feedback. This change is achieved by eliminating the dedicated bike lanes for approximately 150 feet at the Wellington Road end of the project; bikes will be accommodated with sharrow markings on the roadway. This solution is accomplished within existing right-of-way and does not impact the construction schedule of the project.

March 1, 2019

Beginning on Monday, March 4 Prince William Street will be closed to traffic from Jefferson Street to Wellington Road between 8 AM – 5PM Monday – Friday for utility and roadway work. Local residences and businesses will still have access to their properties within the work zone.
