Department of Social Services Advisory Board

The DSS Advisory Board is made up of nine board members, who are appointed by the City Council for a four-year term. The board members meet with senior staff to:
  • Monitor local social welfare programs
  • Support staff with annual budget reporting
  • Assist DSS staff with various community projects
The DSS Advisory Board meets bi-monthly (odd months) the fourth Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Department of Family Services.
