  • Last year over $490,000 day care dollars were spent with local day care providers to support children and keep them safe
  • Over $6 million food stamp dollars were spent in area grocery stores
  • $22 million medical dollars went to doctors, local medical facilities, and drug stores
  • Over $3,800,000 dollars were used to assist low income individuals live in decent, affordable housing through the Housing Voucher Choice Program (aka Section 8)
