Remember your FIRE HYDRANT during winter snows
While you are shoveling, please take a few moments to clear the snow from your fire hydrant. This allows Fire and Rescue personnel to easily see, and have quick access to fire hydrants during an emergency where every second counts.

Next Household Hazardous Waste/Electronics Collection RESCHEDULED for 2/13/2010 from 8-noon at the MTS, 8305 Quarry Road due to pending weather conditions.

MCPA 9th Annual Memorial Run - May 1st
The 9th Annual MCPA 5K Run/Walk will start at Church and West Streets on Saturday, May 1st at 8 AM. The 2010 Manassas Police Association 5K Run/Walk will be held in memory of slain Manassas City Police Sgt. J.D. Conner III, who was killed in the line of duty on July 24, 1988. Snow Removal
Due to the severity and the amount of snow received during the snow storm of 2/5 -2/6/2010 it will take up to 36 to 48 hours to reach all the streets in the City. We are asking citizens to park their vehicles in their driveways or in garages, so our plows are able to remove the large amounts of snow easier. Crews are diligently working around the clock, please be patient.
Snow Emergency Declared for February 05,2010
ATTENTION - A snow emergency has been declared effective 6:00 pm, Friday, Feb. 05, 2010. All vehicles parked on designated Snow Emergency Routes after 6 pm will be towed.
Trash and Recycling Services Suspended Due to Inclement Weather
