Congratulations to Officer Cram for receiving the 2013 Employee of the Year & Honorable Service Medal for saving the life of an infant and to Sr. Officer Bauckman for receiving the Honorable Service Medal for saving the life of a 78 year old resident.

Water Main Cleaning

Water main flushing

The City of Manassas’ bi-annual program of cleaning water mains will begin on April 21, 2014 and will take three to four weeks to complete. Crews will be flushing hydrants weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

As part of the FY 2014 Capital Improvement Program, we will be replacing the equipment at Oakenshaw Park that is appropriate for 2 to 5 year old children. Playground equipment has a useful life and this set is approaching its time to be replaced.
