The Manassas City Council will hold their FY 2011 Budget Work Sessions at Manassas City Hall and the Manassas Utilities/Public Works facility during the months of February, March and April 2010. Citizens are encouraged to attend.

The 9th Annual MCPA 5K Run/Walk will start at Church and West Streets on Saturday, May 1st at 8 AM.
The 2010 Manassas Police Association 5K Run/Walk will be held in memory of slain Manassas City Police Sgt. J.D. Conner III, who was killed in the line of duty on July 24, 1988. For more information: 301.871.0400
Due to the severity and the amount of snow received during the snow storm of 2/5 -2/6/2010 it will take up to 36 to 48 hours to reach all the streets in the City. We are asking citizens to park their vehicles in their driveways or in garages, so our plows are able to remove the large amounts of snow easier. Crews are diligently working around the clock, please be patient.
ATTENTION - A snow emergency has been declared effective 6:00 pm, Friday, Feb. 05, 2010. All vehicles parked on designated Snow Emergency Routes after 6 pm will be towed.
