Hydrant Flushing

Beginning April 16, the City will be flushing hydrants and switching from Chloramines to Free Chlorine to disinfect our drinking water. This is a process completed every year to remove any bacteria or viruses that may be present.

On July 24, 2017, City Council agreed to move forward with a purchase & sale agreement for the Dumfries Road property, subject to a 60 day due diligence period. Construction is anticipated to begin in Sept 2018 with a goal of dedication in February 2020.
