Ambulance / Medic 501/521


All Ambulance / Medic units are setup identically and are capable for any Advanced Life Support (ALS) call. Each unit is staffed with two personnel, either EMTs or Paramedics. 

The unit is considered an Ambulance if the providers on the unit are EMTs; and it will be considered a Medic if the lead provider is a Paramedic. 

Each unit has the following:
  • Life Pack 15 (EKG), Pulse Oximetry, Capnography, and Defibrillation Capable
  • Automatic ventilators
  • Portable suction units
  • Portable oxygen tanks, and on onboard tank
  • Lucas Chest Compression System
