Deputy Chief Kevin Franzello

Deputy Chief Kevin Franzello has been with the City of Manassas since November 2000. Since that time, he has held the positions ranging from Firefighter/EMT, Assistant Fire Marshal, Master Technician, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Acting Chief.

Career Highlights
  • Acting Deputy Chief of the fire and rescue system for six months when top leadership left; assisted with the search and hiring of a new Fire Chief during this time

  • Implemented, managed, and directed a Logistics division, with no assigned budget
  • Conducted the 2007 Fire and Rescue Station Needs Assessment
