EMS 581

EMS 581 is assigned to the EMS Supervisor(s) as a response vehicle. In Fiscal Year 2024, the EMS Supervisor position was drastically changed. When originally introduced, this position had one Lieutenant filling the role; it was then upgraded to a Captain position. Today, one Captain leads the EMS Supervisor program/role with two Lieutenants. 

These 3 positions are spread out over each of our 3 shifts for adequate EMS Supervisory coverage; after all, EMS call volume consistently remains above 70% for the City of Manassas.
