Information Technology Division
Information Technology is a division of the Finance and Administration Department. I.T. provides leadership and guidance to City departments in the introduction and use of new technologies, which enhance City services to citizens. The staff provides an array of technical services and products for City management, staff, elected officials and citizens. Among these services are:
- Development and implementation of the strategic IT plan
- Centralized computer support
- Software and database analysis and design
- Security of electronically-stored information
- Microcomputer and midrange computer and peripheral support
- Local and wide-area network communication design and implementation
- Telecommunications management and support
