Curbside Recycle Guidelines
Overview
Recycling materials are collected for single family residents on Wednesday or Thursday depending upon when trash day is scheduled.  Townhouses are picked up on Tuesdays.  Please pay attention to these guidelines:

  • Rinse all food containers!   
  • May crush plastic bottles, plastic jugs, and aluminum cans
  • Acceptable Rigid Plastics include:  plastic milk/soda crates, plastic bucketrs with metal handles, plastic laundry baskets, plastic lawn furniture, plastic totes, plastic drums, plastic coolers, plastic flower pots, plastic drinking cups/glasses, plastic 5-gallon water bottles, plastic pallets, plastic toys, and empty plastic garbage/recycling bins. 
  • Plastic grocery bags should be placed inside another plastic bag so they stay together.  Types of plastic bags include dry cleaning bags, grocery bags, and toliet tissue packaging.

Corrugated Cardboard Aerosol cans-empty Rigid Plastics-pails/cups/plastic milk/soda crates, plastic buckets with metal handles, plastic laundry baskets, plastic lawn furniture, plastic totes, plastic drums, plastic coolers, plastic flower pots, plastic 5 gallon water bottles, plastic pallets, plastic toys and empty plastic garbage or recycling bins-make sure these items are clean
Gable-top milk and juice cartons Non-prescription Pill Bottles
 Cardstock/Non-Metallic Wrapping paper/Shredded paper in a sealed or tied bag
