Comprehensive Plan Update
The City is currently in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan. This Plan sets policy for the future development of the City and offers guidance across several topical areas from Land Use and Transportation to Community Facilities and Housing.
Please visit the Comprehensive Plan Update Page for more information.
Sudley Road/Hospital Sector Plan
Efforts are under way to develop a plan for Sudley Road from Grant Avenue to Godwin Drive. This area of the City includes the Prince William Hospital, several Churches, as well as a variety of commerical and residential development.
In the fall of 2008 the sector plan was initiated to study this area and a Citizens Advisory Committee (comprised of residents, property owners, business owners, and other representatives) was formed. This committee has been meeting during the past 16 months to draft a plan for the future development of this area of the City.
Please visit the Sudley Road/Hospital Sector Plan Page for more information.
