Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance
The City of Manassas Housing Office administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program for the Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA). The office manages approximately 300 vouchers for residents in the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park that receive rental assistance. The office is located at:
9324 West St., Manassas, VA 20110

A formal waiting list is maintained which is currently closed for new applications. You may call the Housing Office at 703-361-8277 on Tuesdays only between 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. to check the status of an existing wait list application.

Last year, more than 4,000 landlords and owners participated in the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Thanks to them, homes were provided for approximately 9,400 Virginia who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to afford a safe place to live.

This is a program that enables families to get on their feet, to perhaps break the cycle of homelessness, or to simply provide a better living arrangement.
