The City of Manassas takes an “ALL HAZARDS” approach to emergency response and planning. Our public safety professionals help to protect lives and property through quick response to fire and emergency medical services requests, law enforcement and crime prevention, safety and emergency preparedness programs.

The safety and security of our community is our number one priority.

"Manassas Alert" is a free emergency and non-emergency text messaging subscription service for the general public. The service is designed to deliver important emergency alerts, notifications and updates to selected devices including cell phones, pagers, and e-mail accounts.
