Manassas City and Manassas Park Crime Solvers
Overview Manassas Crime Solvers is a program that offers citizens a safe, secure, and totally anonymous way to help their local Police Department in:
- Solving crimes
- Seizing illegal drugs
- Recovering stolen property
- Putting criminals behind bars

 | How Does Crime Solvers Work?
- Media services publishes information about wanted criminals with outstanding criminal charges or hard-to-solve crimes.
- Individuals with information about a wanted criminal or crime are encouraged to contact the 24-hour confidential tips line, at 703-330-0330.
- Individuals are assigned a code number. The provided information will be investigated by the Police Department. Hopefully, provided information will help solve a crime.
- A Citizen's Board of Directors meets to review cases, and approve cash rewards for callers whose information has helped the police.
- Individuals remaining anonymous receive their rewards of up to $1000 in cash by a member of the civilian Crime Solvers Board of Directors. Callers never need to reveal their names or testify in court.
How Do You Send A Tip?
To help anonymously and be eligible for a cash reward:
- Call our 24-hour, confidential tips line at 703-330-0330. You do not need to provide your name and this phone line is not traced, recorded, or identified by Caller ID.
- Enter your Information electronically. Information is sent to the Crime Solvers tip center, then forwarded to the Manassas Police. No email user name, or ISP identification is received by the police. Your tip remains anonymous.
How Do You Claim a Reward? To claim a reward, or check on the status of your tip, call Manassas City Crime Solvers Program Coordinator, Sergeant Tim Neumann at 703-257-8017. Remember, you never have to meet with the police or provide your name.
