The Treasurer is a Constitutional Officer of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Treasurer is elected by the citizens of the City of Manassas to a four-year term and serves at the pleasure of the voters.

The Treasurer is charged by law with the preparation and delivery of bills for tax levies and license tax once assessed by the Commissioner of Revenue, as well as receiving and paying out of all monies of the city. In carrying out these responsibilities, our goal is to provide excellent customer service through sound financial management and professionalism.
