Overview
The City is currently is the process of developing a Sector Plan for Study Area 1 (Sudley Road/Hospital) as identifed in the
2002 Comprehensive Plan. This is the third of the six areas identified in the Comprehensive Plan to go thru the Sector Planning process. The Sector Plan process involves a detailed study of the area and results in the creation of a Sector Plan document. This Plan makes recommendations related to the development of the area, with a focus on land use and transportation issues. These recommendations are depcited in the form of a land use map and transportation map which are then adopted into the Comprehensive Plan. In addition to the maps, specific narrative from the Sector Plan (such as goals) are adopted into the Comprehensive Plan.
The Comprehensive Plan is what the City uses to guide its physical development.

Citizen's Advisory Committee
The Citizen's Advisory Committee (CAC) is a group of residents, business owners, property owners, and other represnetatives who guide the development of the Sector Plan. The CAC meets with City Staff and the Consulatant Team at key junctures in the sector planning process. Their input is invaluable to this effort as they ultimatly shape the direction and recommendations of the plan.
See the Study Area thru the eye's of our CAC members, as they spent time photographing the things they liked and disliked. Here is a
