Annual Leave
For the first two years of employment, employees receive 12 days of annual leave per year. An additional day is added each successive year until a total of 16 years of employment is reached.  16+ years of employment receives a total of 26 days of annual leave per year.

Sick Leave
Full-time employees receive 12 days of sick leave per year. Employees may accumulate sick leave up to a maximum of 960 hours. Carryover limits are enforced on a fiscal year basis. 

Sick Leave Bank
This is a voluntary program and requires an initial donation of three days of sick leave to join. If eligible, employees are allowed to use up to 40 days from the bank.

Paid Holidays
Regular Full-Time and *Regular Part-Time employees receive the following 13 paid holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • President's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth (Freedom Day)
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Indigenous Peoples' Day
  • Veterans' Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Thanksgiving Friday
  • Christmas Day
  • Floating Holiday
*Regular Part-Time employees that consistently work at least 20 hours per week but less than 40 are considered Leave and Benefits Eligible.  These employees earn leave benefits on a prorated basis as dictated in our Employee Handbook. The employees are also eligible to purchase Health Insurance at a prorated cost.**
